Following the more avant-garde Monkey Christ (August 2021), this is the fourth album by Western Bloc. This album goes for a more melodic approach throughout, from the powerful opener, The Ultrasonic, it also hosts more soulful efforts like You Fade and The Heaviest Weight is Love, the album doesn't shy away from political commentary on tracks like Peace Pigs and The Grim Gram (influenced by Joan Didion's brilliant Salvador), recorded at the tail end of 2021, this brilliant album is their best effort yet.
